Zizia aurea

Like other members of the dill family, Zizia is a swallowtail host plant. This hearty plant grows best in wet soils and tolerates dry summer conditions, making it an excellent rain garden choice. Sap from plants has been known to cause skin irritation.

•Sun/Shade:  full sun to part shade

•Pollinator service: Swallowtail butterflies, native bees, native insects with short mouthparts
